Keynote speaker

Alton Garrison

The Keynote speaker this year will be Alton Garrison. He is the Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God in America and served many years as the Director of Home Missions. He was the General Superintendent of the Arkansas district and served the AG church in Little Rock for 15 years as their lead pastor. In his ministry Alton focuses on three priorities: evangelism, equipping and encouragement. He is a very effective communicator and the author of the "The Winning Team". He is married to Johanna, who is of Dutch-Indonesian descent. Her mother and family were members of the VPE Filadelfia Pinkstergemeente in Arnhem.
Alton: "Until everybody has had an adequate witness of the saving power of Jesus Christ, until we have confronted everyone with a chance to get saved and as long as people are just growing churches through biological and transfer growth, we still have a task to do."

Theo Visser is the founder and previous pastor of the multicultural International Christian Fellowship (ICF) church in Rotterdam. At the present he is engaged full-time in starting and mentoring similar churches in the Netherlands and Europe through the International Church Plants (ICP) foundation. The spiritual lessons learned, during a long missions trip he and his family took to India, are being applied in his ministry. Theo is deeply convinced that the best method of evangelism is to live a life that is abundantly filled with the Holy Spirit.

Ruben Flach has been the General Secretary of the VPE since 2010. He has been raised on the missions field. After receiving an education at the Centrale Pinksterbijbelschool, he returned to Brazil where he and his family served as leaders until 2003. Ruben is preaching in many churches and is involved as advisor or coach in several churches in the Netherlands.

Eric Lagerström and his band will be leading the worship during the morning and evening sessions. Eric is a well-known musician and worship leader. He has a very clear missional music ministry and travels with Thomas Sagström through the Netherlands, Sweden and many other countries to show people how much God loves them. Eric also received a vision and love for Israël. Over the last few years that vision has been reinforced by cooperation with the committee of Gemeentehulp Israël (CGI), a department of the VPE. Eric is married to Tanja and they have two children.
